Taildragger Aviation Restorations Page 2

At this point, we decided to branch out and did a 150 Conversion.
This is the Lowe Conversion, and starts with an older straight tail, straight back 150,
and uses Cessna 140 gear to complete the conversion. WAY COOL!
(wish I still had it!)Named appropriately, Elmer Fudd

Then we got a big head and bought a Spartan Executive.
We could only afford one that needed a complete restoration, so...
we sold the 150 (see above), the bonanza, put our son in hock
and we were back in business!
This airplane was known reverently as 'The Spartan' or 'Ken's Mistress'

Since we had a Spartan airplane, we needed a Spartan Trailer, right?
This restoration took 6 months. It was always just, 'The Damn Trailer'.

Another 140A. This aircraft has only 1800TT since new.
The former owner was Ed, so this one is 'Fast Eddie'.
The new owner is 14 years old and flies him regularly!!!

Eddie Stripped ailerons and flaps
