Taildragger Aviation Restorations Page 1

The first Aircraft Restoration was a 1946 Cessna 140.
This was accomplished right after we got married in our 2 car garage.
It took one year. We named it 'Eight Ball'

outside after

After that, we restored a 1950 Cessna 140A.
It's name was Clarence

Panel after 93C on ramp

And then our own 1950 Cessna 140A! (Charlie)

On Nose

Since we did the plane, we figured we would do our own 1950 Ford Tudor Sedan.
What could be so different, right? This came from Ken's Uncle Jack's Field.
It's name is 'ODE FODE', pronounced 'Oh-Dee Foe-Dee'

Now that our car was done, we volunterred to help my cousin on his
1959 Ford Custom 300. This car was purchased new by my Great Aunt,
and my cousin was the second owner.
This restoration was finished in the early 1990s. This car now belongs
to our son, Curtis, (third owner) and is in need of another restoration!
(It is called Frieda Ford - after my aunt!)
(stay tuned)
